WELCOME TO LAHRA!

The Lakeshore Area Human Resources Association (LAHRA) consists of a group of human resource professionals who are committed to advancing the profession and serving the professional by promoting sound human resource practices, providing continuing education opportunities in the human resources field, providing opportunities for the exchange of human resources knowledge and experience, encouraging better human relations in organization, and taking action on legislative issues which affect human resource practices.  

LAHRA is an affiliate chapter of the National SHRM organization. LAHRA has earned the prestigious Gold EXCEL Award for 2010 as well as the Superior Merit Award for its accomplishments from 2005 through 2009, consecutively. This award recognizes excellence in chapter operations and a commitment to providing meaningful programs and services to its members.  

Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support for excellence in Human Resources.  Your membership will open a door to a wealth of information and resources that are right at your fingertips!
